Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC)

Geotrace's Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC) processing attenuates noise, resolves statics, and handles merge issues that yield an AVO compliant merged dataset.  For Dual-Sensor acquisition the receiver ghost is attenuated by summing hydrophone (pressure) and geophone (velocity) data.  Geotrace uses a robust technique that accounts for imperfect receiver coupling and minimizes the effect of any remaining coherent and random noise on the summed output.
